Websites and Blogs

Jeffery Gitomer: An excellent perspective on sales and customer service. His advice as helped me more than I can thank him, and turned me on to many other helpful sites and resources. I highly recommend signing up for his Ezine.

Dave Ramsey: Not only about getting out of debt and managing your money (instead of it managing you), but excellent business advice and aging links to many resources.

Michael Hyatt: Michael is probably the foremost expert in building your online presence and platform. Great blog content, and many helpful resources.

A Sales Guy: Check this Keenan out, he speaks the sales truth. I find his blog inspiring.

Dan Waldschmidt: Dan will challenge the comfort zone, also speaks the sales truth.

Books that Have Helped Me Grow

Customer Satisfaction is Worthless, The Little Red Book of Selling, Little Gold Book of Yes! Attitude by Jeffery Gitomer. Really, all of Jeffery Gitomers books are awesome, but these to stand out to me, they are where I would recommend starting.

Total Money Makeover, Entreleadership, by Dave Ramsey. Again, many more books but these two just changed my world.

How to Win Friends and Influence People, The classic by Dale Carnegie that teaches the golden rule of dealing with people in detail. I start every year by rereading this book.

Outwitting the Devil, by Napoleon Hill. This book really opened my eyes to the power of thinking for myself, and what happens to us when we don’t. This was written in the 1930’s but just released in 2011. Amazing how prophetic Hill’s words are. And, I also I have to mention his legendary book Think and Grow Rich, probably the first business improvement book.

Power Questions by Andrew Sobel and Jerold Panas, Thought provoking questions, I frequently refer back to this book.

Selling With Nobel Purpose, Lisa Earl Mcleod. This book made me understand what really drove my sales success, and the fact that the reason we do what we do is so important.

Platform by Michael Hyatt. He teaches his proven ways to build your platform, and get started in blogging and writing.
